Adaptive learning that works out which facts you struggle with and practises those — so every minute counts.
Most times tables practice treats every fact equally. tapbytap's adaptive learning module tracks how you perform on each individual fact — 3×7, 8×6, 9×4 — and emphasises the ones you get wrong or answer slowly, until they are locked in.
The result is that you spend more practice time where it actually matters, and less on facts you already know well. The more you practise, the more accurately the system models what you know — and the more efficiently it fills in the gaps.
The module covers multiplication facts from 1×1 to 12×12 — all 144 facts in the complete times tables. It works for learners at any stage: beginners who are just starting out will spend more time on the easier facts, while more advanced learners progress quickly.
There's no timer in this module. The focus is on accuracy and building confident recall, not speed. Speed comes with familiarity.
Sign up for a free account and your progress is saved between sessions. The adaptive model carries over — so each time you come back, the system already knows where to focus. Without an account, you can still practise, but progress resets each session.
After completing this module you'll be ready for the timed multiplication tests.
