All 144 multiplication facts from 1×1 to 12×12, timed. A thorough measure of speed and accuracy across the full times tables.
The complete times tables test runs through all 144 multiplication facts — every combination from 1×1 to 12×12, presented in a randomised order. Questions are repeated a couple of times, and incorrectly answered questions are repeated until secure. So the clock runs until you have answered every fact correctly.
The test is timed from first question to last answer. Your total time and score are recorded at the end, giving you a clear benchmark to improve on.
Many times tables tests only cover a subset of facts, or repeat questions. The complete 1–12 grid contains 144 unique facts (or 78 if you count only the distinct pairs — but both 3×7 and 7×3 are worth knowing instantly). Running through all of them in a single sitting gives an honest picture of where you are.
Pupils who score well on selected questions sometimes have gaps in less common facts like 7×8, 6×9, or 8×12. The full test finds those gaps.

The complete test works well as a starting assessment and as a periodic check-in. Use the adaptive learning module for day-to-day practice — it focuses on the facts you find hardest. Use this test to get an overall picture. If you're preparing for the Year 4 MTC specifically, see the MTC practice module.
