How it works

The module presents multiplication questions one at a time, up to 12×12. Tap the answer and get instant feedback. There are no timers in this module — the focus is on working through the facts at whatever pace suits you.

Just a few minutes of consistent daily practice with this module will rapidly solidify your tables.

The system tracks which facts you know and which need more work. Weaker facts come up more often; recently mastered facts return occasionally to stay fresh. Over time, the whole table gets locked in.

The learning panel

Help is only a tap away. Hit the button at any time to open the learning panel for that specific question. The learning panel shows:

  • A dot-grid diagram to make the fact visual
  • The answer
  • A strategy - how to calculate it
  • For some facts, helpful tips to trigger your memory
  • The full multiplication table for each of the two numbers, so you can see the fact in context.

Completion

Once every fact up to 12×12 is secured, the module is marked complete. From there, the natural next step is the timed speed tests — where the goal shifts from accuracy to fluency under pressure.

Who it's for

This module suits learners who already have a feel for numbers and multiplication but want to systematically work through and consolidate every times table fact. It pairs well with the speed tests for a complete times tables programme.

  • Learners who know some tables but have gaps in others
  • Revisers who have learnt the tables but whose knowledge is 'rusty'
  • Anyone who wants a structured, methodical route to 12×12 mastery
  • Students preparing for the MTC who want to lock in every fact first
